JADE PEACH MASSAGE

Massage and bodywork as a form of social justice

WHO WE ARE

Inclusion for those facing systemic injustice

We are five women of colour who practice massage therapy and bodywork as a form of social justice. We support movements for change by ensuring that lived experience activists and movement leaders have access to the tools and therapies needed to sustain themselves as organisers. Our goal is to ensure that massage and bodywork are inclusive to those who are fighting systemic injustice. This includes, but is not exclusive to organisers who are:

  • Asylum Seekers and Refugees

  • Black people and People of Colour

  • Trans and Queer people

  • Disabled people

  • Survivors of violence

We recognise that marginalised people face multiple barriers to accessing bodywork. We also recognise that marginalised communities are those leading the fight for a better word. We know from our own lived experience that justice work is exhausting and can take an extreme toll on one’s health. That’s why we believe that massage and alternative therapies is a much needed tool for movement building. We are based in Margate and Ramsgate but we can travel to clients. We work with each client individually to ensure that each treatments is informed by their needs.FREE MASSAGE SLOTS FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND THOSE AFFECTED BY CONFLICT:
